Case studies
IoT connectivity for Smart City Zurich
The City of Zurich, ewz, and Microsoft initiated a collaboration with IoT connectivity platform akenza. The collaboration implemented LoRaWAN-based smart city use cases with akenza for data acquisition and visualization.
This resulted in long-term relationships between akenza and the collaborators, with SaaS and Caa agreements. There were approximately 500 devices on akenza's platform already in 2021.
